In as little as 8 months, our Personal Fitness Trainer Course will give you the skills you need to gain a significant career advantage and the knowledge to deliver personalized fitness plans for your clients.
Choosing the right certification matters. The Manhattan Institute has partnered with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to offer a comprehensive Personal Fitness Trainer course curriculum that is based on scientific research and the experience of renowned fitness experts.
Upon completion of our Personal Trainer program, you will have the education and skills necessary to begin your career as a Personal Fitness Trainer. Gyms not only prefer trainers with an NASM affiliation, but with your 900-hour diploma in Personal Fitness Training from The Manhattan Institute, you will never have to become recertified. This means your diploma is good for life. You also earn a special NASM distinction, which also will never expire. Additionally, getting your training at The Manhattan Institute offers more support and privileges than other Personal Trainer Fitness programs.
The Manhattan Institute’s Personal Fitness Trainer Program offers:
- Lifetime Placement Assistance from The Manhattan Institute and NASM
- Ongoing consultation with nutritionists and fitness experts
- Unlimited use of the NASM online student learning resource center
- Special certification training in Sports Nutrition and Corrective Exercise
- Financial assistance is available for those who qualify
You also will qualify for the NASM CPT certification (requires a NASM exam):
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
You will feel confident and ready to help any client meet his or her fitness goals. Our program consists of 660 classroom hours and a 240-hour supervised hands-on externship at a local NYC health club.
